Dear Hope View Families,

I’ve been pondering for the last few weeks as to what my ‘Welcome Letter’ should say. What message am I looking to convey as we “virtually” return to school? Well...the truth is...I still haven’t figured it out, but what I can tell you is how thankful I am to be part of the Hope View Community and that we are all in this together. There is absolutely no other group of teachers, parents and students that I would want to be surrounded by during this time of uncertainty.

I would like to thank Mrs. Luckey and the entire staff at Hope View for their support and encouragement navigating our children through this past Spring trimester. Our incredible team of teachers has always gone above and beyond to ensure that our children are receiving the quality education that they need to succeed.

During the summer, the 2020-2021 PTO Board has spent countless hours volunteering and working hard to figure out how to best serve our community in this “new normal”. We have invested in a new website to help streamline communication and everything Hope View related:

At this time, the PTO Board has decided to focus primarily on our PTO Membership Drive as the main fundraiser for the school year. While we will have a number of smaller fundraisers, our Membership drive is the only fundraiser that allows 100% of donated funds to go directly back to our students. Our mission as the PTO Board is to continue to enhance the educational experience for all of our kids with a STEAM focus by improving our technology and providing supplemental programs. Although the way we support our teachers and students may look a little different this year, we vow to continue to provide what is necessary to ensure the success of our school as a whole.

Continuing to build upon and bring our community together is near and dear to our hearts. Although many of our events are on a temporary pause, as soon as we receive the green light we are ready to organize and plan the family and community events that we have all come to love and look forward to each year.

We recognize that communication more than ever will be the key to our success in maintaining a tight-knit and supportive school community; we will do our best to be consistent and transparent in all that we do. We also want to hear from you and welcome your active participation. The PTO Board will conduct General PTO Meetings via Zoom as school commences, until we are able to do so in person; Zoom links will be available on the website.
